DIMONA WAS HIT

These are the families we serve, our community.
We need urgent help to continue to deliver meals and care for those in poverty, Holocaust Survivors, and IDF reservist families who are relying on us.
Thousands of homes destroyed and damaged, including Meir Panim’s branch.

It’s a miracle no one died

Shattered glass, metal debris, destroyed plumbing and electrical line. A ceiling that could collapse at any moment.  Entire nearby streets have been shut down, much of it low-income housing. And the people who rely on us every day… still need food.
So we haven’t stopped working, far from it.
Emergency meals are being delivered directly to homes and shelters

Volunteers are going door-to-door to reach families who cannot leave

Every patron is being contacted and checked on
Because when everything stops, we don’t.

The survival of Israel has always carried a sense of the miraculous.

For thousands of years, this narrow strip of land has been fought over by the world’s greatest empires, and has been saved by miracles.
The Splitting of the Red Sea, David and Goliath, The Romans, the Persians, Kingdoms and conquerors marched across history and disappeared.
Yet the people of Israel are still here.
But miracles in Israel have never happened without people stepping forward.

While the skies above Israel show moments of wonder…

families below are still struggling.

Nearly 3 million Israelis live in poverty.

For them, this war has pushed an already fragile life to the edge.

“The sirens wake the kids all night. School is closed. My job shut down. Passover is coming, and I don’t know how we’ll prepare.”

Lior, 39, father of three

“When the sirens start, my body freezes. The sound brings back memories I spent my life trying to forget.”

Sara, 91

“My husband is fighting in the north. Soldiers are getting wounded. I barely sleep because of the sirens and because I’m terrified the phone will ring.”

Maya, wife of an IDF reservist

The miracle happening on the ground

Even during war, Meir Panim continues operating across Israel to support the country’s most vulnerable.
In Dimona, even with our branch building damaged and closed, our team is continuing to care for the families who rely on us.
Passover is the holiday of redemption and deliverance.
It remembers the moment when the sea split and a people walked from slavery to freedom.
But during war, preparing for Passover can feel overwhelming for families already living in poverty.
That’s why Meir Panim is making sure thousands of Israelis can still sit at a Seder table filled with dignity, hope, and belonging.

For Passover this year we are providing

Passover Pantry
Boxes

including matzah, wine, meat, and holiday essentials

Prepaid Grocery
Cards

so those in need buy their favorites with dignity

Five Community
Seders

so no one is celebrating alone

Continued daily meals and pantry support

throughout the holiday

Be part of the miracle

Missiles may be intercepted in the sky.
But families still need help here on the ground.

Right now you can become part of the miracle of hope and provision happening across Israel through Meir Panim.
